Steel doors are difficult to impossible to pry open, especially when paired with a metal door frame and a good deadbolt system. Hollow steel doors can't be kicked in or easily cut through, either, so they are one of the securest options for exterior doors on your commercial building. 

5. Low Maintenance

Chances are you don't want to spend a lot of time sanding down and painting wood doors and frames. Steel doors rarely need more than a dusting to keep them looking like new. Scratches can typically be buffed out of unfinished doors. You can also opt to have the door powder coated in a color to match your building's design. The powder coating will last years without any additional maintenance.
